Hello and welcome to my profile. 🙂
I was born in Southern California in the 1960’s – yes, I’m a California Girl! Though I have lived in Arizona and Florida and now reside in Maryland, I still carry my linguistic roots and occasionally drag out my inner Valley Girl. With a bit of “y’all” and “hon” additions for good measure.
Married for almost thirty years to an amazing guy, I have two adult sons. I have one degree in English and one in Ministry, and I claim Theology’s crimson Master’s collar, too. My employment has spanned a vast spectrum, but now I prefer to work at home.
I spend my days writing books and short stories. If I’m not writing, I’m probably editing something or catching up with my favorite shows on Netflix, Disney+, or Amazon Prime Video. Reading is a given. I think I’m on my third fourth Kindle, now, and I still have hundreds of paperbacks on numerous bookshelves.
I received a Liebster Award and finally got around to claiming it in June of 2013.
Thank you. 🙂
Online, I can be found on Goodreads, twitter, and Facebook.
May your life be blessed with all that is best for you!

Hiya Sandy!
Greetings! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I just followed you on twitter… I know you’re incredibly excited.
I did my first tweet today, and felt like a raving idiot. At this rate, world domination will never be mine. I am totally paralyzed by the small things. Also, I am pretty sure composing a tweet should not be nerve-wracking.
p.s.—“I enjoy helping writers look their best on paper.” Kind of made me cringe… My random comma use and my tendency to hyphenate-at-will must make you kind of crazy.
Hello!
Yes, I’m incredibly excited. lol I was just thinking about you (which sends you over the boughs, I know). Welcome to twitter. It IS nervewracking for a first-timer to compose a tweet and have it go out to the world.
Your hyphens are fun to read and I enjoy the random commas. Truly. Now I’m going to go and follow you back.
Great bio, Sandy. I enjoyed reading that you have degrees in English and Theology. I think that’s super! Good luck with all your future ventures!
Why, thank you, sir. 🙂 Writing a bio stresses me out something awful. lol
Best wishes in all you do, too!
